Dinokeng is an African name meaning “Place of Rivers”. The Dinokeng Game Reserve (DGR) is located in a beautiful area with many rivers in northern part of the 100% malaria-free Gauteng province in South Africa. Covering an expanse of close to 20.000 hectares, the DGR is the only “Big5” game reserve in Gauteng Province – giving guests the opportunity to spot free-roaming elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo & rhino – as well as jackal, cheetah, hyena and a huge variety of other amazingly beautiful African wildlife and birdlife.
